The newest FCI breeds

The Fédération Cynologique Internationale accepts new breeds on a provisional basis first. During that period — usually a decade — the standard is still settling, the breed cannot win international championship titles, and details may change before definitive recognition. This page tracks every provisional acceptance since 2018.

How to read these pages: breeds below carry an Official – FCI (Provisional) tag. Their profiles are deliberately lighter and hedged, because published documentation is thin. We update them as the FCI publishes more.
